Testosterone Therapy (TRT) in South County St. Louis

A lot of men start their search for testosterone therapy online, and a lot of what they find is a checkout page. At Summit's South County office, you can sit across the desk from a licensed provider and go through your labs in person, then handle many follow-ups from home. We've been doing it that way in Sappington since 2018.

Who comes to see us

Our South County TRT patients come from Sappington, Crestwood, Sunset Hills, Affton, Concord, Mehlville, Oakville, Webster Groves and Kirkwood. Some have had symptoms for years and finally want answers. Some have had a testosterone level checked elsewhere and want a fuller picture. Common reasons men call include low energy, poor sleep, low libido, erectile dysfunction, brain fog, reduced muscle and less motivation. None of those prove low testosterone by themselves, which is why we test first.

Your first appointment, step by step

• Before you come in: we set you up for a comprehensive blood panel at a LabCorp draw site. Men's panels include PSA along with testosterone, estradiol, SHBG, LH, FSH, prolactin, thyroid, metabolic and lipid markers and more.

• Bring: a list of your current medications and supplements, plus the questions you want answered. Your provider reviews every medication before recommending anything.

• At the visit: your provider walks through each marker, asks about your health history and goals, and explains your options in plain language.

• If TRT is appropriate: you get an individualized protocol, and medication, supplies and instructions ship to your door.

• After you start: follow-up labs and regular check-ins give your provider what they need to adjust your plan. Your care team is a message away for refills and questions.

In person first, then mostly from home

Some patients like to meet their provider face to face for the first lab review, then handle routine check-ins by telehealth. You can do it that way or come to Sappington for every visit. Either way, labs are drawn at a LabCorp site near home or work, medication ships to your door, and the same care team follows your progress.

We're at 13 Ronnie's Plaza, the shopping center anchored by the Marcus Ronnie's Cinema on South Lindbergh Boulevard at Baptist Church Road. Lindbergh is one of South County's main north–south roads, so the office is a short drive from most of South St. Louis County and from south city neighborhoods.
